TownHallDES PLAINES –State Senator Laura Murphy will be hosting three legislative town halls in the 28th District throughout January.

“These town halls are a great opportunity to hear from residents on issues important to them and to stay caught up on the decisions we made in Springfield this past year,” said Murphy (D-Des Plaines). “I encourage residents to come out and learn about what’s going on around the state.”

Murphy is hosting three town halls in January:

  • Tuesday, Jan. 6, from 6-7 p.m. at Des Plaines Public Library, 1501 Ellinwood St., Des Plaines, Room C
  • Wednesday, Jan. 21, 6-7 p.m. at Schaumburg Township District Library, 130 S. Roselle Rd., Schaumburg., Rasmussen South Room, 2nd Floor
  • Tuesday, Jan. 27, 6:30-7:30 p.m. at Park Ridge Public Library, 20 S. Prospect Ave., Park Ridge, First Floor Meeting Room

“Town halls allow me to hear directly from the community about the issues most urgent to them,” said Murphy. “This feedback will help me understand how to best support the needs of the district going forward”
